Welcome to our website!

We are open every weekday during Cornish school term times, and can take children from 2 years old to school age. Each session is led by a qualified playleader, who is assisted by one or two additional members of staff depending on numbers.

We are a registered provider under the Cornwall County Council Early Years Development Plan, which means we have regular OFSTED inspections, and can offer full funding to many of our children. Funded children are offered 5 sessions per week (each 3 hours long) for a full 13 week term. Unlike some providers, we do not charge additional top-up fees. We are registered for a maximum of 16 children, and as long as we have vacancies, all children receive funding from the term after their third birthday. Non-funded sessions are charged at £5.00 per session.

The pre-school is run by a committee of parents and volunteers who are elected at an Annual General Meeting. Additionally, a General Meeting is held each term, to which all parents and carers are invited.

We maintain links with the community, and especially with the reception class of our local primary school. Children are taken on regular visits to the primary school during the year before they start school.
